THE LAW: Nothing but rain water can enter the storm drain.  In addition, any waste water that is to be discharged into a sanitary sewer must meet strict requirements by the city and/or county that is responsible for treating that water.  This requires permits and testing to remain compliant.

In 1977, the "Clean Water Act" was created as a Federal Law to restore the nations waterways by preventing pollution sources and protecting wetlands.  This is especially important here in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed. Here at City Clean we take a very strong stance against pollution which is why we have invested thousands on our equipment and education to ensure the proper recovery and disposal of the wastewater created from cleaning your site.

We have our own recovery units that are custom tailored to our industry which allow up to properly wash parking garages, gas stations, oil spills, new construction sites, dumpster pads, loading docks, and any other job where water wastewater recovery is needed.  If the job is too large for our system, we have a partner company that will supply 3200 or 6000 gallon vacuum trucks.  These trucks will remove the water from the site and be transported to a treatment facility.  We will provide you with the proper manifest stating what was removed and the quantity.  These are some of the many things that set us apart from our competition who either do not have the resources or the integrity to remain compliant.
